How Frequent Blogging Has Impacted Me

Writing blog posts regularly wasn’t something I expected to enjoy this much, but here we are. It’s been an interesting process, and honestly, I’ve learned a few things along the way.

First, it’s helped me clarify my thoughts. I have so many ideas swirling around, about photography, creative projects, and social media, but writing them down forces me to organize them. It’s made me more intentional about what I share and why.

Second, it’s pushed me to reflect on my creative journey. Instead of just doing photography, I’m thinking more about what film means to me, why I shoot the way I do, and how I want My Filmera to evolve. It’s helped me see the bigger picture (no pun intended).

And lastly, it’s made me realize how much I love sharing my process. Whether it’s talking about film photography, social media strategies, or just creative struggles, I enjoy creating content that others might relate to.

Will I keep blogging regularly after this assignment? Maybe. But I do think writing will stay a big part of how I document and share my work.
